Well, hello there!

First of all, thanks for dropping in!

Second of all, this is not a site about plants:) Yes, I know it may be confusing with all of the cacti + plant pictures on the site. The truth is, I have a (quite massive) obsession with plants & believe, pretty strongly, that nature has much to teach us about the ebbs and flows of life. I am a Spiritual Director/Companion, pastor, wife, mother, & (obviously) plant + nature enthusiast. Those threads will always be interwoven into my practice.

Third of all, if you are curious, below is a little ditty about who I am, what I am doing, & why (I believe) it matters.

Hello, my name is Jessica H. Morris and I have spent 20+ years of my life caring for people both inside & outside the church walls. 7 of those years were spent paving a way for women in the church as the first female pastor of a large congregation in Memphis, Tennessee. It has been a long, beautiful, difficult, windy road but through the unexpected journey of pursing a Masters of Divinity, ordination, and birthing 2 of the cutest little nuggets, I have developed a passion and heart for those too traveling the “unexpected journey” life leads us on.

Over the years, I have cultivated a deep love and appreciation for traveling the unexpected journey alongside people… and by people I mean ALL people (men, women, churched folks, non church folks, a variety of religious backgrounds, as well as those in the LGBTQIA+ community). Basically, I love people & feel incredibly honored and thankful to be apart of their journey.

I am currently spending most of my time offering Spiritual Direction with a desire to create a sacred + safe space for individuals to discuss, process, grow, and be as transparent as they desire about their spiritual journey.

Now that the (semi) formal introduction is out of the way, what do I do?
